Phillip Cly, 36-40Cruiser, from Wichita,KS. competed in the 2006 Oklahoma State Championship Finals at Yukon BMX in Yukon, OK. on September 10th. Phil made the main event where he snapped out of the gate pulling the field of riders down the first straight taking the holeshot and never looking back to cross the line for a 1st place finish.

Phillip Cly, team manager for C & C Racing, has made a big move to Wichita, Kansas. Phillip will now be classified as a Kansas District-02 rider and no longer competing in the Oklahoma District-02. At the time of the move, Phillip was leading the Oklahoma State Championship Series for 36-40 Cruisers and on track to contend for his 1st Oklahoma State Title. But, with the move, he was unable to race for several weeks so he will now be taking on the 36-40 cruiser class in Kansas but not eligible to compete for a Kansas state title. Phillip is looking forward to racing more next year in Kansas and making a push for the Kansas state title for 36-40 cruiser.

Recently, Phillip Cly traveled to Yukon, OK for the 1st round of the Oklahoma State Championship Series Qualifier. Racing in 36-40 Cruiser, Phil met the challenge head-on along with a dusty main event to capture the overall 1st place finish. The next day, Phillip headed east to Sand Springs, OK for the Redline Gold Cup Qualifer. Cooler temperatures in the low 90`s made things a bit easier to qualify for the main event. In the main event, things started out slow after hitting the gate but made up ground down the 2nd and 3rd straights to overtake the leader and hold on for the 1st place finish.
